TERMS OF SERVICE
We promise to explain clearly, not to predict accurately — an agreement that states its boundaries up front.
Astralis is a self-knowledge tool that sets three traditions side by side — BaZi, astrology and psychology. Its core value is translating these three ways of understanding people with AI and labelling sources, so you can “see” rather than be “told”.
Astralis is explicitly none of the following: ① a fortune-telling or event-prediction service (we do not answer “when will I get rich” or “when will I marry”); ② a medical, psychological-diagnosis or treatment service (we do not replace doctors, therapists or psychiatrists); ③ a legal or investment advisory service (no legal opinions, no investment advice); ④ a decision agent for relationships (we do not decide whether you should break up or marry).
All Astralis readings are “descriptive language translation”, not “prophetic verdicts on fate”. We offer perspective; the choice and the decision always remain yours.
All content Astralis provides — chart readings, AI conversation answers, fortune timelines, synastry — is a “referential narrative” based on traditional language systems and modern psychological models, and does not constitute advice of any kind.
You are responsible for assessing how well the readings fit your situation, and you bear all risk and consequences of any decision made based on or in reference to them (including but not limited to career choices, relationship decisions, health decisions and investment behaviour).
Astralis and its operators are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service — including but not limited to data loss, opportunity cost, emotional distress or third-party claims. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited to the most recent one-time payment you actually made.
If you are in emotional crisis or at a major decision point, please seek professional psychological, medical, legal or financial advisory services first. Astralis cannot replace those roles.
Astralis's methodological promise is “explain clearly”, not “predict accurately”. Specifically:
1. BaZi and astrology are traditional language systems from millennia of observation. Their terms (“Ding Fire day master”, “Moon in Gemini”) carry cultural metaphor and expressive power, but are not objective laws verifiable by modern scientific method. We keep the texture of these languages while labelling their source systems — we do not equate them with modern science.
2. Psychological assessments (MBTI, Big Five, Enneagram) are based on modern psychological research, but all have reliability/validity limits and cultural applicability constraints. Results should be read as “tendency descriptions”, not “personality verdicts”.
3. AI readings are based on a pretrained language model and a fixed knowledge base. They may contain factual deviations, cultural bias or contextual misreading. The “confidence” label attached to each reading reflects only the internal agreement among the three systems, not objective truth.
4. When the three systems conflict, Astralis does not force the conflict away — it presents the difference as “a space worth verifying yourself”. We aim for transparency that can be challenged, not authority that cannot be questioned.
When using Astralis you agree to:
1. Not abuse the service: including but not limited to bulk automated chart generation, data scraping, attempting to jailbreak the AI, or bypassing confidence/source labels.
2. Not reverse-engineer: no decompiling, disassembling or reverse-engineering Astralis's client code, casting algorithms, knowledge-base structure or AI prompt templates; no using service content to train your own or third-party models.
3. Not spread misleading content: no taking Astralis readings out of context for fortune-telling marketing, emotional manipulation, superstition promotion, or other acts that damage Astralis's transparent-methodology image.
4. Not infringe others' rights: no entering another person's full birth information for synastry and public dissemination without their consent; no using the service for anything illegal.
5. Respect intellectual property: no large-scale copying, mirroring or republishing Astralis's readings; keep source labels and confidence info when quoting.
Violating the above may result in warnings, feature restrictions, suspension or permanent ban, and we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.
Copyright in content officially produced on the Astralis platform — including but not limited to reading text, knowledge-base articles, interface design, icons, font combinations, AI prompt templates and casting-algorithm implementations — belongs to the Astralis operator and is protected by applicable law.
Chart data and personalised readings you generate with Astralis belong to you — your birth information and your self-narrative, not the platform. You may freely use, copy and share them provided you do not violate Section 4.
You may not claim copyright in Astralis's general knowledge-base content (e.g. explanations of “Ding Fire” or descriptions of “Moon in Gemini”) — these are the common knowledge of traditional language systems and Astralis's general expression.
Open-source dependencies, fonts and third-party resources used by Astralis follow their original licences; the relevant declarations are in the repository's LICENSE and NOTICE files.
Astralis uses a “pay per need, permanent” one-time purchase model — no subscriptions. Free users can create up to 2 chart profiles and get 3 brief AI readings per profile.
Paid items: ① single-profile unlock (one-time payment, permanently unlocks that profile's full report modules, plus 9 AI conversation credits); ② AI conversation pack (one-time purchase of 10 conversation credits, usable on any unlocked profile). Purchased unlocks and credits are permanent, have no expiry, and never auto-renew.
Refund policy: because profile unlocks and conversation credits are delivered and usable immediately after payment, refunds are generally not supported. If a major failure of Astralis's own making makes your purchased unlocks or credits unusable for 30 days, we will compensate proportionally to the failure duration. Refund requests based on “the reading was unsatisfying” or “it didn't predict accurately” are not supported — consistent with the methodological promise in Section 3.
Price changes: we announce price changes 30 days in advance. Already-purchased unlocks and credits are unaffected by later price adjustments.
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and login credentials; losses from account compromise are borne by you. If you suspect theft or abnormal login, reset your password and contact support immediately: email-registered accounts can reset via the “forgot password” flow with an email verification code; phone-registered accounts can sign in with an SMS code and change the password.
Account transfer: Astralis accounts are bound to a person and may not be transferred, lent or sold. We may suspend or close accounts involved in unauthorised transfer.
Account reclamation: accounts inactive for 12 consecutive months may have their chart profiles and local data cleared to free resources; you are notified via your registered phone or email before clearing. Paid unlock records are handled per the privacy policy retention period and do not lapse from inactivity.
Astralis is an evolving product; we may add, adjust or retire features at any time. Material feature changes (core algorithm replacement, paid-feature scope changes) are announced in advance, and purchased unlocks and credits continue under the original terms.
We may suspend or terminate service to you in these cases: ① you violate Section 4 or 7 and fail to correct after a warning; ② your account is long inactive; ③ required by law or judicial order; ④ force majeure makes continued operation impossible.
On termination we notify you at least 30 days in advance by registered email or on-site notice. You may delete your account and chart data during that period; afterwards, data is handled per the retention period in the privacy policy. Astralis does not provide a data-export feature — please back up anything you want to keep (e.g. screenshots) yourself.
If Astralis ceases operations entirely, we announce it 90 days in advance and keep the account/data deletion channel open until shutdown. Note that we do not provide a data-export channel: if you want to keep your charts and readings, please back them up yourself during the notice period.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding its conflict-of-law rules). If you use the service outside mainland China, you must also comply with applicable local law.
Disputes related to this agreement or Astralis services are first to be resolved through friendly negotiation or the on-site feedback channel. If negotiation fails, either party may file suit in a competent people's court where the Astralis operator is located.
We commit to the same attitude in dispute handling as in our product methodology — transparent, open to challenge, and not evasive. For reasonable user requests, we prioritise fast resolution without litigation.
This clause does not affect your statutory consumer rights. Any clause that conflicts with mandatory law is invalid only to the extent of the conflict; the rest remains in force.
This agreement may change as features, laws or operations evolve. Material changes (service-scope adjustments, added user obligations, expanded disclaimers) are announced on-site and by registered email at least 30 days before they take effect.
Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect counts as acceptance of the new agreement. If you disagree, close your account and delete data before the effective date.
Non-material changes — formatting, wording, contact details — take effect immediately and are posted on-site, without separate notification.
Archives of previous versions are available on request via the contact details at the end, so you can compare differences. This is part of our “explain clearly” promise — agreement changes must be explained clearly too.
We explain clearly, we don't promise to predict — that is Astralis's whole promise.
